Kambiz Tazarv arrived in the United States as a young adolescent before the revolution and came of age, largely outside the Iranian community. Yet it was Persian poetry and literature that found him — and kept him.
Over the last twenty-five years, he immersed himself in the works of Iran's great spiritual masters from the 9th to the 14th century: Bayazid Bastami, Abu Said Abil-Khayr, Sheikh Attar, Rumi, and Hafez — tracing a lineage of inner wisdom that one can claim it has truly no equal in human history.
Carevansara is a resting place for the travelers of this long road — a space for those on their inner journey. Through the poetry and wisdom of the masters, through the art, documentaries, and writings he has created over the years, he shares it without any claim or pretense — one person's encounter on seeking his own Higher Self, through the paths that the masters spoke of.
His professional life began in the aerospace industry, passed through computer programming, moved through financial modeling, and ultimately arrived at the station of Certified Public Accountant.
He is also a graphic artist and cultural documentary filmmaker — among his works are "The Temple of Esther and Mordechai" and "Yazd — Words, Ancient Works, and a Reference to the Significance of Symbolism in Iranian History."
And this journey still continues…

کامبیز تذرو پیش از انقلاب، در نوجوانی به ایالات متحده آمد و بیشتر سالهای جوانیاش را دور از جامعه ایرانی گذراند. با این حال، این شعر و ادبیات فارسی بود که او را یافت — و نگه داشت. در طول بیستوپنج سال گذشته، خود را در آثار بزرگان معنوی ایران از قرن نهم تا چهاردهم غرق کرد: بایزید بسطامی، ابوسعید ابوالخیر، شیخ عطار، مولانا و حافظ — و خطی از خرد اندرونی را دنبال کرد.
کاروانسرا جایگاهی است برای استراحت مسافران این راه طولانی در سفر اندرونیشان... او از طریق شعر و خِرَد بُزرگان، از طریق هُنر، مستندها و نوشتههایی که در طول سالها خلق کرده، بدون هیچ ادعا یا تکلفی به اشتراک میگذارد — برخورد یک انسان در سفر خویش برای رسیدن به بزرگی خویش، در حال گذشتن از راهی که بزرگان از آن سخن گفتند.
زندگی حرفهای او از صنایع هوافضا آغاز شد، از برنامهنویسی کامپیوتر گذشت، از مدلسازی مالی عبور کرد، و سرانجام به مقام حسابدار رسمی خبره رسید.
او همچنین گرافیست و فیلمساز مستند فرهنگی برای فیلمهای "معبد اِستر و مُردِخای" و نیز"یزد - کلمات و آثار باستانی و اشاره به اهمیت نمادگرایی در تاریخ ایران"، میباشد.
و این سفر هنوز ادامه دارد…

Some things cannot be explained by choice. Kambiz Tazarv grew up far from the Iranian community, in a country not his own — and yet Persian spirituality found its way to him the way gravity finds what belongs to it.
Calmly with his own desire, for twenty-five years enjoyed the work of these spiritual masters like Abu Said, Attar, Rumi, Hafez, in his own Space & Time allowing their words & his soul to do what magnets do best: gravitate towards one another.

برخی چیزها را با انتخاب نمیتوان توضیح داد. کامبیز تذرو دور از جامعه ایرانی، در سرزمینی که از آنِ او نبود بزرگ شد — و با این حال، معنویت فارسی راهش را به سوی او یافت، همانطور که جاذبه آنچه را که به خود تعلق دارد مییابد.
آرام و با خواست خویش، بیستوپنج سال است که در فضا و زمان خویش، با آثار این بزرگان معنوی مانند ابوسعید، عطار، مولانا، حافظ —همنشین بوده وترجیح داده که کلام آن بزرگان و روح خویش آنچه را که آهنرباها بهتر از هر چیز میدانند انجام دهند: یعنی به سوی یکدیگر کشیده شوند.
کاروانسرا آن مرکز است که نمایان شده. اگر این را میخوانی، شاید همان نیرو تو را هم به اینجا آورده است.
